Ground Zero Church Rang Bell for Colorado Victims

A church in lower Manhattan rang its bell in honor of the victims of the Colorado theater shooting.

The Bell of Hope at St. Paul’s Chapel was tolled at 12:30pm Thursday, July 26, 2012.

The bell was a gift from London to New York after the September 11 terror attacks and has been rung following the bombings in London, Madrid, Mumbai and Moscow and the Virginia Tech and Norway shootings.

St. Paul’s Chapel sheltered and fed recovery workers for months during recovery efforts after the terrorist attacks.
