We have just learned that Rudy Havelka of Levittown died of site-related illness on July 9, 2013. Havelka was a retired FDNY paramedic and retired Captain of the East Meadow Fire Department.
The viewing was held on Friday, July 12, 2013 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. and 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Homes, Levittown Chapel, 2686 Hempstead Tpke. (two blocks east of Wantagh Pkwy). Funeral Service Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00am at North Shore Community Church, Oyster Bay, NY. Interment was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Port Jefferson.
