After bureaucratic delays, a New York state license plate commemorating those killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 is finally available, reports Susan Edelman for the NY Post.
The plates will cost $85.00 initially, with a $56.25 annual fee to renew an assigned 9/11 plate. Personalized 9/11 plates will cost an initial $116.25 and will cost $87.50 a year for renewal. Plates can be ordered here.
$25.00 of the renewal fee will support New York’s World Trade Center Memorial Scholarship Fund.
