An art exhibit in Berlin dedicated to “martyrs” who have “died for their convictions” includes one of the September 11th hijacker terrorists and one of the terrorists behind the 2015 Bataclan attack in Paris. Others featured beside the terrorists are Martin Luther King and Socrates.
The exhibit has sparked outrage from many, including the French Embassy.
Organizers of the exhibit claim they are exploring a wide usage of the term “martyr”, not encouraging terrorism, reports Agence France-Presse in the Guardian.
