Retired NYPD Detective Marcos Quinones, an authority in cults, has died of World Trade Center-related cancer.
“My role as a police officer is to protect life and property and to teach my fellow officers to appreciate nontraditional religions,” he told the Daily News years ago.
Detective Quinones was 65 and had been fighting the cancer since 2018, reports John Annese for the New York Daily News.
