A replica of Columbus’s ship Santa Maria got stuck in the low-tide waters of New York Harbor recently. The NYPD was able to free it, and posted a number of comic tweets about the ‘pirate’ ship invading the city.
No treasure was found during the adventure, reported Sydney Pereira for Tribeca Patch.
The replica ship was en route to Baltimore.
