NYPD Officer Michael Hance, 44, has died of 9/11-related cancer reported Rocco Parascandola and Thomas Tracy in the New York Daily News.
Hance, the divorced father of two and 17-year veteran NYPD officer, was assigned to Queens’ 111th Precinct. He was diagnosed with brain cancer in November, which spread rapidly.
In 2015, a video of Hance dancing with attendees at the Gay Pride Parade went viral.
