Celoron flight attendant Amy King killed in 9/11 attack honored in memorial 5-K run

Amy King, a flight attendant killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, was again honored at the annual memorial 5-K run in her name.

Her sister Debbie told Erie News Now, “Year after year it has become a family tradition for people and the community, I can’t really put it into words what it means to us.”

9/11 survivor Enzo Ardovini plants new life in Brevard

Enzo Ardovini, now 69, was an architect in NY on 9/11. He assisted in the search for victims in the hours after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. While there, he fell and was injured. His injuries led to brain damage.

Italian native Ardovini now lives in Florida and has made a new life selling Italian olive oils and other foods at farmers’ markets. He spoke to Jeff Navin of Viera Voice.

Efforts underway for 9/11 Memorial statue in Mountain Home, Arkansas

Firefighters from Mountain Home Arkansas are planning a 9/11 memorial statue containing a piece of steel from the World Trade Center. The memorial would stand across from the Baxter County Courthouse.

Tommy Felicia discussed the memorial with staff from KTLO radio.
