Ellen Saracini, board chair of the 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection in Yardley, PA, has requested a street renaming near the memorial in memory of U.S. Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick, who died last month, saying that he was an “early and ardent supporter” of the Lower Makefield 9/11 Garden of Reflection. Saracini lost her husband Victor Saracini in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
The local board of supervisors suggested that she contact local parks and recreation officials and that they expected to support any suggestion made by them, reports Doug Gross of Yardley Patch.
