NYPD Officer Patrick Thomas McGovern’s funeral was held on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Pearl River’s St. Margaret Church.
A lifelong resident of Pearl River, Officer McGovern, died at 43 on May 2, 2019 of cancer caused by his three months at the World Trade Center during and after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, reported the Rockland/Westchester Journal News.
