The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation has agreed to pay $70,000 for two more years of the Tribute in Light, the light memorial that shines four miles into the sky every anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.
The LMDC recently received a $50,000,000 settlement from Lend Lease Construction LMB Inc. as part of the Deutsche Bank dispute and will fund 14 Lower Manhattan projects with the money, reported the JP Newsroom on March 18, 2016.
