A woman who filmed the World Trade Center on 9/11 from her hotel room in the Millennium Hotel and who may be called as a witness in the case against the Guantanamo Bay detainees was interviewed by Ben Wolfgang of The Washington Times as she expressed her frustration with the lack of progress in the hearings.
Tami Michaels filmed gruesome video of the attacks that was used in the Zacarias Moussaoui trial in 2006. The footage has not been seen by the public, having been given to the authorities shortly after the attacks.
No trial date has been set.
“Pretrial proceedings began in 2012 and will continue until trial is ready to commence. As the rulings in pretrial matters can directly impact trial timing, any prediction of a start date at this point would be speculative,” Pentagon spokeswoman Commander Sarah Higgins told reporters.
