On what would have been his 28th wedding anniversary, Lt. Mario Bastidas was honored by a street co-naming at the site of his first marital home, 73rd Place between 57th Avenue and the Queens Midtown Expressway in Maspeth.
His widow, Penelope Bastidas, attended, reports the Queens Chronicle.
Lt. Bastidas, an FDNY paramedic died of World Trade Center-related illness on April 1, 2017.
