London officials can now use dogs that can smell suicide bombs on people in future terrorist attacks. These dogs will go into the aftermath of attacks such as the London Bridge attack and, directed by a laser-pointed beam used by their human partners, the dogs will go to the suspects indicated and signal if the suspects are armed or wearing explosives.
It is hoped that police lives will be saved by the use of these dogs, and will increase response times, and allow paramedics to help injured people more quickly, reports Martin Beckford for Mail on Sunday.
