The Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium has reported that ISIS supporters Al-Muntasir media group have posted online revelling in the destruction of Notre Dame Cathedral, saying, “Have a nice day” and claiming that the fire is ‘retribution and punishment,’ writes Ross Ibbetson for the Daily Mail.
Al-Muntasir also published online celebrations after the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan attacks in France.
The office of Paris’s prosecutor has announced that they are treating the fire as an accident at this time.
