After the 9/11 terrorist attacks of 2001, a group of Louisiana volunteers came to Lower Manhattan with a mobile gumbo-making station, providing hot food for recovery workers.They called themselves the Gumbo Krewe and are fondly remembered by many.
Now, one of the Krewe has opened a restaurant, reports Curt Sprang for WGNO.
