The Broadway cast will reprise their roles in a filmed performance of the beloved musical Come from Away, which will be filmed this spring and premiere in September, reports Corey Atad of Entertainment Tonight Canada.
The hit musical tells the story of the kindness shown to thousands of airline passengers stranded in Newfoundland after airspace was closed due to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Filming will take place at Broadway’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City, the home of Come from Away before COVID-19 forced theatres to shut down.
