Ohio Task Force 1 has announced that Woodie, a Golden retriever who served at the World Trade Center in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 died on earlier today, January 24, 2015. Woodie was more than 15 years old and was one of the last remaining K9s from the site.
Woodie and his partner Terry Trepanier served at the site from September 11 to 17, 2001.
