City considers adding pedestrian safety barriers after terror attack

In light of October’s terrorist attack on a Lower Manhattan bike path, New York’s City Council is considering new legislation that would add bollards (metal barriers) in front of schools, busy areas and places considered to be at high risk of attack, reports NY1 News.
