The convicted Boston Marathon bomber wrote notes to police during his hospitalization after his capture. These notes have now been released by his lawyers who are appealing his conviction.
The notes say that the brothers acted alone and “did what is necessary.”
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan killed three people and injured nearly 300 others by planting two bombs at the finish line of the Boston Marathon in April 2013.
He was sentenced to death two years later, reported CBS News.
