Casa Grande man donating liver to first responder father, Mike Forman, to save his life

Bethpage volunteer firefighter Michael Forman is suffering from World Trade Center-related illness and needs a liver transplant to survive. His son Connor has agreed to donate 60% of his liver to his father.

“At the end of the day, it’s my father and I’ll do whatever I could do for him. He’s given me so much that it’s the least I could do,” Connor told Briana Whitney of CBS5 AZ.

The rare surgery will take place in Los Angeles on December 1, 2021.
