New York 9/11 victim identified 18 years after attack

New York City’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner has announced another identification of a victim of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the third identification of 2019.  1,645 people of those killed that day have now been identified, reports Mirna Alsharif for CNN. The ID was made via DNA testing of remains recovered in 2001.

The name of the identified person, a man, is not being released at the request of his family.

40% of those who murdered on 9/11 remain unidentified.
