Pennsylvania 9/11 EMT with days left to live hopes to move into renovated home with his wife

Margaret and Nick Ursta are high school sweethearts from Pennsylvania who just celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in the hospital, where Nick was being treated for terminal lung cancer.

Both were EMTs from White Oak Rescue who spent a week at the site of the World Trade Center, treating recovery workers for injuries.

Nick became ill in 2017. He has been trying to renovate their house, to no avail, until a local reporter arranged for volunteers to work on the house and companies to donate supplies. The Urstas hope to move in this weekend, reports John Shumway for KDKA.

Nick is hoping to live long enough to make it to the move.
