9/11 survivor Linda Randazzo living in North Texas speaks out for the first time

Plano, Texas resident Linda Randazzo was working on the 35th floor of 1 World Trade Center on the morning of September 11, 2001. She told reporter Tiffany Liou of WFAA her story, speaking publicly about the attacks for the first time.

When the plane hit, she said, “my desk moved and slammed against the wall so you knew it was something big. We just didn’t know what. We thought a gas line exploded because of the smell. We had no idea it was a plane until we were in the staircase.”

She thought her best friend was still inside all the way down the stairs, but found her on the street.
