The small town of Owendale, located in Michigan’s “thumb”, is raising money to honor one of their own, Marvin Woods, who was killed at the Pentagon during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Woods, known as Roger, was 57, retired from the U.S. Navy and working with the Chief of Naval Operations as a civilian technical manager at the Pentagon. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Owendale is planning a memorial to honor Woods, reports Brandon James of WBCK.
