On National Police Week, officers ‘feel more scrutinized than ever’

Law enforcement officers from around the country are gathered in Washington DC this week for National Police Week to honor their 158 fellow officers who died in the line of duty in 2018. So far in 2019, 42 officers have been killed in the line of duty.

25,000-40,000 family members and colleagues of the fallen will attend a Police Week event.
