Las Vegas shooting survivors got hit again at Thousand Oaks — here’s how they’re coping with twin tragedies

Telemachus Orfanos, one of the 12 people killed in the Thousand Oaks shootings last week, was a survivor of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

Another survivor of the Vegas shooting, Nicholas  Champion, told Alex Lockie of This Insider that roughly 50 other survivors were present at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, where last week’s shooting took place.

The Las Vegas shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival killed 58 people and injured almost 500 more. Many of the survivors of that attack have become close.

Chandler Gunn, another Route 91 survivor, said to reporters,”There’s people that live a whole lifetime without seeing this, and then there’s people that have seen it twice.”
