Never Forget – Abington’s Christie Coombs shares 9/11 story with Bridgewater students

Christie Coombs told a large group of Bridgewater students about losing her husband to the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Jeff Coombs, who would have turned 60 next week, was a passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 11, which was the first plane terrorists flew into the World Trade Center.

Coombs hopes to encourage students “to always choose kindness,” she told reporter Corlyn Voorhees for the Taunton Gazette. The Coombs family started the Jeffrey Coombs Memorial Foundation to help families struggling with tragedy or loss.
