The New York State Senate has passed Bill S7797 to extend the disability filing period for Word Trade Center rescue and recovery workers.
Those who have not yet filed a notice of participation can now do so.
Those recovery workers who became ill between September 11, 2015 and September 11, 2017 can now file a claim before September 11, 2022.
