‘My husband saved lives, I took a life,’ 9/11 widow weeps at fatal-crash sentencing

Lisa Martini was sentenced to five years’ probation after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter. She was driving under the influence of marijuana and struck and killed a cyclist in 2016, reports Frank Donnelly in the Staten Island Advance.

Martini expressed tremendous regret for the death of Stanley Marshall, 59.

Her husband, FDNY Lt. Paul R. Martini, was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001.
