Woman donates bulletproof vest for K-9 to honor brother Ron Ruben who was killed on 9/11

Leslie Ruben honors her brother through a variety of charitable acts. Ron Ruben, 36, was killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 while working at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods on the 86th floor of the South Tower of the World Trade Center.

His sister has remembered him by building a Habitat for Humanity house, gives scholarships in his name and has worked to support our troops. Her latest venture is to purchase a bulletproof vest for the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department’s new canine officer, Gibbs, a German shepherd, reports Kyle Morel in theĀ New Jersey Herald.
