Jennifer Kane Trust: Local 9/11 victim still touching lives years after terror attacks

Since accountant Jennifer Kane was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Jennifer Kane Scholarship and Charitable Trust, a foundation named in her honor, continues to do good, reports Rich Harbert in Plymouth (MA) Wicked Local.com.

The Trust has donated $1,190,671 to causes dear to Jennifer, funding homes for seriously injured veterans, scholarships at Villanova, the Girl Scouts and families in need.

Jennifer Kane, 26, earned her degree in accounting from Villanova and was a CPA for Marsh and McLennan on the 100th floor of the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

Contributions to the fund made this year will be distributed to four worthy causes: Homes for our Troops, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, Old Colony YMCA and My Brother’s Keeper.
