Over the weekend, Johns Hopkins’ men’s basketball team played the 16th annual Wall-O’Mahony game against the Ursinus College Bears, reported Andrew Johnson in The Johns Hopkins News-Letter.
The Wall-O’Mahony game honors the memories of Glenn Wall and Matt O’Mahony, both of whom played for the team as members of the class of 1984. O’Mahony and Wall were both killed by terrorists while working at Cantor Fitzgerald in the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Matthew Timothy O’Mahony was 39. Glen Wall was 38.
The Blue Jays were behind throughout the game until the final two minutes, when they held off the Bears to win, 74-71.
