Players from Foran High School in Milford, CT played football against rival Jonathan Law on Thanksgiving, and awards were presented, reports Peter Vander Veer in the Milford Mirror.
Foran’s Jared Hubler, who plays both receiver and defensive back, earned the Mike Miller Memorial Award. Miller, who was an impressive athlete during his time at Foran High, was killed in the terrorist attacks of 9/11 while working at the World Trade Center. He was 39.
