In 2014, WDBJ7 Virginia interviewed Marc Kaufman, who claimed to be an FDNY firefighter who had barely survived the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Now he admits he is not and has never been a firefighter or affiliated with the FDNY and was nowhere near the World Trade Center during the attacks.
