John Toscano writes in the Western Queens Gazette that the New York State Senate has approved S.3604, a bill to grant step-children of deceased 9/11 recovery workers to the same “legacy credits” on civil service exams as biological children receive.
“It’s the right thing to do in honoring the memory of some of our city’s bravest men and women,” Senator Addabbo stated.
