Families of 9/11 heroes moved by artistic tributes at NYPD headquarters

Rocco Parascandola writes in the February 2, 2016 issue of the New York Daily News about a luncheon to mark the extension of the Zadroga Act that featured paintings of some of the police officers who either were killed during the attacks or who died of site-related illnesses due to their work during the recovery effort.

A number of their families were in attendance at the lunch.

The paintings of members of the NYPD will be displayed at 1 Police Plaza.
