The Library of Congress now has roughly 200 stories from rescue and recovery workers who responded to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The accounts will be available to the public soon, as part of the American Folklife Center of the Library.
Titled Remembering 9/11 Oral History Project, the collection was given to the Library of Congress by the Stony Brook University medical center that treats many sick recovery workers.
