Defense lawyers in the case against some of the alleged plotters of the 9/11 terrorist attack have discovered mold in their office trailers at Guantanamo Bay Navy Base. The “Top Secret-Sensitive Compartmented Information” offices have been declared off-limits to the attorneys, who have been ordered to leave files behind, so that they do not contaminate other areas.
The judge, attorneys, and family members of some of the people killed in the 9/11 attacks arrived at the base on Saturday.
It is not known how this will affect the case, writes Carol Rosenberg of the Miami Herald.
