Request to bring 9/11 first responder clinical center to Hudson Valley

Representative Sean Patrick Maloney has asked the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health to allow Mount Sinai Health System to establish a clinical care center in the Hudson Valley to treat those police officers, firefighters, EMS workers and construction workers who are sick from their work at the World Trade Center site after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Many of these men and women live in the Hudson Valley and must travel to Manhattan for care while desperately ill, reports Kathy Welsh of HVNN.com.

Maloney’s letter can be read here.
