NYC Audubon needs volunteers to monitor Tribute in Light

Every year NYC Audubon monitors the 9/11 Tribute in Light memorial for migratory birds that may get disoriented by the light beams. Volunteers will take two-hour shifts (at least 2 people work each shift) from 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 to 6:00am on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.

NYC Audubon will hold an orientation for this year’s Tribute in Light monitoring on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 6:30pm in the NYC Audubon office.

To apply or for more information, please e-mail Adriana at apalmer@nycaudubon.org or call 212-691-7483.
