NJ EMS volunteers seek support for 9/11 monument

The EMS Council of New Jersey is raising funds to complete their September 11th memorial in honor of the emergency medical personnel who responded to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The Keansburg memorial is scheduled to be dedicated this September and will be the first dedicated EMS memorial in the country, writes Sylvie Mulvaney for ahherald.com.

The memorial will be next to Keansburg’s 9/11 Memorial, with a view of the Manhattan skyline. Ground was broken last September 10.
