On October 1, 2015, ABC 13 News Now covered the October 3 deployment of the USS Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group. This group includes the USS Arlington, which is making its first deployment since its commissioning. USS Arlington bears steel from the US Pentagon and is one of three Naval ships built to honor the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
