ICE frees pardoned Ground Zero worker set for deportation

Carlos Cardona, a construction worker who worked at the World Trade Center site in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 has been released from custody, report Graham Rayman,Ginger Adams Otis and Leonard Greene of the New York Daily News.

Cardona, a native of Colombia, will be required to check in with immigration officials pending the outcome of his case.
