Children of some of the police officers and firefighters killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 threw out ceremonial pitches at Citi Field, reported Andy Mai in the New York Daily News.

As part of an evening organized by the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund (aka Answer the Call), Julian Miles Davis, son of Port Authority Police Officer Clinton Davis, was one of three who threw out a ceremonial pitch before the Mets/Cubs game on Thursday.
