9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Goose Fest 2019 – a fundraiser for the families of Master Sergeant Christopher J. Raguso USAF; Sergeant Dashan Briggs USAF; and FDNY Firefighter George Scheer, E-249 – will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019, from 11:00am until 8:00pm at the Hoyt Farm Nature Preserve in Commack, NY.
Gates open at 11:00am and there will be entertainment by live bands throughout the day, starting at 11:30am.
Tickets cost $50.00 per adult, and include beer, wine, water, soda and food while supplies last. Attendees must show valid ID to consume alcohol. Children 12 years of age and under enter free but must be accompanied by a parent or adult. The proceeds from this event will be donated to the families of USAF MSgt and FDNY Lt Chris Raguso, USAF; TSgt Dashan Briggs; FDNY Firefighter George Scheer and for a scholarship in the name of FDNY Lt. Chris Raguso at Elwood/John Glenn High School.
This event will be held rain or shine. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers.
