9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. NYPD Memorial 5-K Run/Walk

The 18th annual NYPD Memorial 5-K Run/Walk will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 10:13am, in Lower Manhattan.
The NYPD Memorial 5-K Run honors all NYPD Officers who have died in the line of duty, including the 23 officers murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and the officers who have died of World Trade Center-related illnesses.
More than 900 NYPD heroes’ names have been etched into the granite New York City Police Memorial Wall in Battery Park City. Runners gather yearly at the Memorial for a prayer, followed by the 5-K Run/Walk, Kids’ Fun Run, barbeque and celebration.
