9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Build-a-Rig Raffle to Honor the late NYPD Officer Scott Blackshaw

Raffle tickets are on sale to raise funds to purchase a funeral rig honoring Scott Blackshaw for the NYPD Ceremonial Unit. Tickets cost $100.00 each and 1,000 tickets will be sold. The prize is either a 2020 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle from O’Toole’s Harley or $15,000 in cash. Tickets and more details are available here or here. Native Staten Islander Joseph Michael Abate, of the Electrician’s Union, Local #3, 67, died in Myrtle Beach, SC on February 18, 2021 of World Trade Center-related lung cancer. He was an electrician for the New York City Police Department for 37 years, retiring nearly five years ago. Retired FDNY FF Jeff Cool's oldest son, Jeff, Jr., will run 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours in Joey’s name from March 4, 2021 until March 6, 2021. Joseph DiBernardo jumped with Jeff from a burning building on Black Sunday, January 23, 2005. Both were gravely injured, along with several others. Two other FDNY officers, Lt. John Bellew and Lt.
