The Department of Defense has confirmed that an order has been signed to offer COVID-19 vaccines to Guantanamo Bay detainees and prisoners, including the alleged conspirators behind the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Injections could be given as soon as next week.
The terrorist who had been sentenced to death for the 2002 murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl is going to be released from prison by order of Pakistan’s supreme court. Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh’s sentence was commuted from execution to seven years last year.
