9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Firefighter Eugene McCarey, 60, retired from Engine 95 /Ladder 36, died on November 13, 2014 from World Trade Center-related cancer. The private funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Firefighter McCarey's obituary can be found here.
